Morley Sentinel Door Access Network Controller 101015. TheSentinel 2 door controller range has been designed using the latestmicroprocessor technology to provide an effective, easy to install and operateaccess control package. Sentinelsupports up to 4,000 users in both stand-alone and networked applications. Sentinelprovides a comprehensive audittrail via the onboardserial printer port. Both thetransaction log and the card database are battery backed. Sentinelprovides a battery backed real time clock, which is displayed during normal operation. Sentinelaccepts both Morley format and PAC formal proximity card readers. The Sentinelcontroller will accept a wide range of close, medium and long-range readers forvarious applications, Sentinel will also accept combined proximity andbiometric readers, together with smart readers.

Sentinel is also able to offerusers a range of token options, including'half clamshell' cards, ISO cards forID printing and key fobs. Note thatPAC KeyPac readers are not included in thislist. For any further questions please conflict Morley Electronics. Two ports for the connection ofcard readers.

Four clean contact inputs for theconnection of egress buttons and door contact monitoring. Four relay outputs for the controlof door release mechanisms and door alarm indication. The networkcapable version of the Sentinel controller supports connection of up to 16controllers on a simple two-wire network, allowing a 32-reader system lo becreated without the need for PC control. When networked, user cards can beadded at any controller and can be used immediately at any reader on thesystem. Whenfurther controllers are added to an existing system the card database isautomatically synchronized, enabling simple no bother expansion of the system.

A firealarm input is provided for connection to a fire alarm panel, allowing the releaseof all doors on the system using only one input.
